Dr. Bai Lifang from Hainan University deliver a lecture in our college

On the afternoon of April 25, 2018, the Foreign Language College, Literature and Culture invited Dr. Bai Lifang, the deputy dean of the School of Foreign Languages of Hainan University, to give a lecture entitled “Study on the Development of English Writing Ability from the Perspective of Complex Dynamic Theory”. The lecture was hosted by Dr. Jin Yinxing from the English Department. Dr. Bai clearly presented the complete research process and research ideas of empirical research from the five aspects of "theoretical basis-research questions-research methods-research results-inspiration", telling everyone that research must be based on a solid theoretical foundation. The research questions are clear, the research objects are clear, the research methods are feasible, and the research results are clear. The research results can not only verify the theoretical hypotheses, but also solve the practical problems in the research objects. Professor Bai’s lectures benefited the teachers and students. They not only learned the methods and paths of scientific research, but also greatly stimulated the research interests and enthusiasm of teachers and students. During the questioning session, everyone enthusiastically asked questions and spoke, and discussed the details of the lecture research with Dr. Bai, and launched a real and rich academic exchange.
