Our students have achieved good results in the 2018 National English Speech, Writing and Reading Competition in Hainan Province.

 On October 19th, the 2018 “External Research Institute·Guo Cai Cup” National English Speech Contest was held in the Auditorium of Guilinyang Science and Technology Park. In this competition, 30 contestants from Hainan University, Hainan Normal University, Hainan Medical College, Hainan Tropical Ocean College, Sanya College, Haikou Economic College and Qiongtai Teachers College participated in the competition. After fierce competition in the last two rounds, five contestants from the University stood out and won the award. Among them, Ge Xinghe won the special prize, Fang Hongming won the first prize, Kong Zefan and Sun Yuanqi won the second prize, and Zhou Yi won the third prize. The Grand Prize winner will represent Hainan Province to Beijing to participate in the national finals of the event.

 On the morning of October 20th, the 2018 “External Research Institute·Guo Cai Cup” National English Writing Competition was held in the Self-study Center of the South Campus of our school. In this competition, 88 contestants from Hainan University, Hainan Normal University, Hainan Medical College, Hainan Tropical Ocean College, Sanya College, Haikou Economic College and Qiongtai Teachers College participated. The contestants of our school performed more outstandingly and won great results. Among them, Gao Song won the special prize, and Sui Sisi and Yu Jia won the first prize. Bayu, Chen Zhen, Jiao Ao and Wang Yifei won the second prize, Liu Hailu, Lu Mingxiu, Tang Fengyi, Wang. Eleven students such as Yan, Chen Xinqi, Wan Hong, Zhou Ying, Zhang Yuanqin, Hu Yi, Xu Wei and Li Qian won the third prize. The winners of the special prize will represent the national finals of the writing competition in Hainan Province.

On the afternoon of October 20th, the 2018 “French Research Institute·Guo Cai Cup” National English Reading Competition was held in the Self-study Center of the South Campus of our school. In this competition, 95 contestants from Hainan University, Hainan Normal University, Hainan Medical College, Hainan Tropical Ocean College, Sanya College, Haikou Economic College and Qiongtai Teachers College participated. After fierce competition, our contestants Gao Wei and Wang Xiuzhuo won the first prize, Wang Lulu, Fang Hongming, Zhou Ziying won the second prize, Chen Lei, Jiao Ao, Wang Wei, Lin Shijun, Zhang Ruizhen, Fu Wei won the third prize.
